On August 24th, Holy Cross Catholic School welcomed St. Patrick Catholic School’s teachers and staff as the first load of classroom supplies and materials from St. Patrick were moved to Holy Cross.

With the goal to keep as many students together as possible, District Admin, Principals, and Staff decided to have Holy Cross accommodate St. Patrick’s Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 7 students, and Mother Teresa accommodate St. Patrick’s Grade 8 students. Since the decision, staff from both Holy Cross and St. Patrick have been preparing together for the move. Teachers from both schools have been working hand-in-hand to set-up classrooms, load and unload materials, and prepare for the first day of classes on September 5th.

“Holy Cross is excited to have St. Patrick students and staff join our family,” said District Principal of Holy Cross Lee Boylan. “We look forward to working and learning together.”

“We are extremely pleased with our staff who are helping out in so many ways. Based on the work done to date, students and staff from St Pat's will have an awesome year,” stated Superintendent Germann.
