In-School Apprenticeship Programs
What are our In-School Apprenticeship Program opportunities?
St. John Paul II Catholic School / Faculté St-Jean Paul II offers students the Period 1 AIT-certified Welding Apprenticeship program. St. Joseph Catholic High School offers students the Period 1 AIT-certified Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship program. Additionally, both High Schools offer students the opportunity to work towards a Period 1 AIT- certified Barber Apprenticeship Program and the Period 2 AIT- certified Hairstylist Apprenticeship. As these programs are official AIT apprenticeship courses, students must pass (a minimum mark of 70% required) both the AIT theory and AIT practical examinations in order to receive certification. Students required a 50% to receive the High School Credits for these modules.
